Belle’s Vintage Wedding Fair proudly presents ‘The Parlour Rooms’ . . .

Formally known as The Big Bead Boutique, The Parlour Rooms is a new venture from three entrepreneurial Brighton based ladies, Joanne Tomlin, Nicola Smith and Taj Noel-Cambridge:

parlourRoom2Jo, who originally ran Big Bead Boutique and had frequented Belle’s Events Fairs since day one told me some more about this fab new venture. What’s it all about Jo? “the essence of The Parlour Rooms is a wondrous emporium for all of your bridal and vintage/retro & hen party needs”. Sounds like my kinda place.

Tucked away beyond Brighton’s Clock Tower you will find the shop and all it’s offerings. The ‘Tea Parlour’ where you get a feeling of stepping back in time whilst sipping on refreshing tea and eating delightful cakes will great you first. You will then find yourself meandering through to gaze over all of the beautiful handmade wedding accessories, if you are not able to find what you need in store then please feel free to enquire about the bespoke service. If it’s undies you’re after cast you eyes upon the lingerie by Bunnies Forever, good for weddings and bespoke pieces can be made too.

Then you will be lucky enough to come across The Bead Emporium, which is has a beautiful array of interesting and unique beads, to be made into jewellery at one of Jo’s special workshops, but more about that later!!… But wait, there is more!!…

If you wish to be glamorised in a vintage fashion or have a vintage style party then you are in the right place, as downstairs houses the Pretty Pout Parlour and The Party Room!

ParlourRoom3Pretty Pout Parlour is the creation of Nicky and here she will turn all of your vintage glamour dreams into a reality. She will style your hair and make up, like you’ve stepped right out of a Black and White movie from any era, starting from the 1920’s going right through to the 1960’s!

You can meet Jo and Nicky at Belle’s Vintage Wedding Fair on September 8th where you can have your bridal hair and make up taster and talk to Jo about workshops. Brighton has some of the most unique and vintage inspired wedding suppliers in the country and I think you will really enjoy speaking to these lovely ladies.

Back to the shop and in The Party Room, which can be booked for private parties, for hen do’s and birthday parties alike you can book book in for a vintage glamourising party or indeed, a jewellery making workshop, a garter making workshop, or why not indulge in a High Tea Party, with your own special twist!

The Parlour Rooms is a hens dream come true, with all of these wonderful experiences under one roof!

You can find the terrific trio on Facebook but if you are getting married soon I would definitely make some time on September 8th and pop along to Hove Town Hall for a chat.
